The ‘Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française’ (DELF), the ‘Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française’ (DALF) and the ‘Test de connaissance du Français’ (TCF) are diplomas granted by the French Ministry of National Education and are formally recognized by all universities and schools teaching French, both in France and abroad.
The examinations can be taken in 900 approved examination centres in 154 countries, including France.
At Langue Onze Toulouse, a person in charge of the DELF/DALF/TCF exams process will be pleased to answer all the questions you may have, not only concerning the official French tests and diplomas but also the exam preparation courses available at Langue Onze Toulouse.
The person will also help you to apply for the DELF/DALF/TCF exams in one of the examination centres in Toulouse.
Our DELF preparation courses are organized and taught by qualified teachers who have worked as test examiners.
These highly-focused courses will familiarize you with the structure and general content of the examinations.
All exam preparation courses are available as individual tuition (whether or not combined with an intensive French course in group).
We are offering a specific DELF B2 preparation in group (most frequently required exam by universities) at key times of the year, corresponding to the official examination dates in Toulouse, plus one summer session.
Since September 1st 2005, the levels certified by these examinations are consistent with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) as defined by the Council of Europe.
DELF / DALF
The 6 diplomas that make up DELF and DALF are completely independent, meaning that candidates can register directly for the examination of their choice corresponding to their current level in French.
The DELF or DALF Diploma is valid for life time.
The TCF is a standard general exam with questions becoming progressively more difficult from level A1 to C2 of the CEFR. It consists of compulsory tests (oral comprehension, knowledge of structures, written comprehension) in the form of multiple choice questions, and of optional tests (oral and written expression).
The TCF diploma is valid for 2 years.
The DELF / DALF and TCF examinations are administered at official test centres throughout the world, 4 of which are in Toulouse. In 2017, according to the diploma and the examination centre, the registration fee varies between 110 and 160 €.
