Combined course-Professional French or Academic French 23+6 lessons

A French language course to develop your general French language skills and work on your personal objectives: professional projects or preparation for university studies in France.

Description

The combined French course is specially tailored if you wish to develop a working knowledge of general French and if you need French for professional or academic objectives.

The combined professional or academic French course is available all year round in our French language school in Toulouse.

This combined Professional or Academic French course comprises a minimum of 31 group lessons a week of 45 minutes each.

It consists of a French intensive course every morning (23 lessons per week / 45 minutes each) and of individual sessions of professional or academic French in the afternoon, one-to-one lessons with a French teacher (6 – 8 individual hours per week).

As for the individual French tuition, you have the choice between 2 options depending on your objectives:

  1. Specialized French language, professional objectives
  2. Academic French language

This tailor-made combined course enables you to develop your general French language skills and, at the same time, to answer your targeted needs and Professional or Academic French learning outcomes.

  • 1 General French Language course

Improving all French language skills (oral and written production, oral and written comprehension), widening knowledge of vocabulary and correcting French grammar.

  • Individual French sessions

Developping your French communication skills related to your professional context / project or your academic purposes, according 2 options:

Option 1: Individual courses - Specialized French with professional purposes

Professional French courses in the afternoon, from 6 to 8 hours a week (to choose), if you need to develop intensively your French communication skills connected to your professional context or project.
The program, the vocabulary and the role play exercises will help you to strengthen your oral and written skills in work situations, according your professional aims and fields:

  • Professional communication: phone call, public speaking (meetings, presentations, conferences…), professional correspondence (mails, letters, reports, minutes…)
  • Specialized French: business French (sales, management, marketing…), medical French, legal French, French for hotel and tourist industry, Science and Technology and Diplomacy*

Option 2: Individual courses - French for Academic purposes

Specific French preparation courses for Academic studies, 6 to 8 hours per week (to choose) in the afternoon.
This preparation enables you to practice note-taking in French, oral comprehension of a course taught entirely in French (lectures, seminars, practicals) and the main Academic French writings and oral forms … You will work on your oral and written French language skills within your special field: law, business and marketing, science, tourism...

Educational service

  • Assessment procedures throughout your language training: initial assessment (written test), ongoing evaluation (regular follow-up of progress during class activities + monthly assessment of linguistic skills) and final assessment (final exam + certificate for language skills for a minimum of 3 weeks training)
  • A certificate of participation in the French language courses and of French language knowledge
  • A French language resource centre with a multimedia lab offering a lending library (DVDs, books, audio books, language handbooks, topical books, newspapers…), and supervised self-learning activities
  • A student room with free Internet access and Wifi, open Mondays to Fridays from 8.30am to 6pm.
  • Information service for Official French Exams: a person in charge of the Exams DELF/DALF/TCF will be pleased to answer all the questions you may have, not only concerning the official French tests and diplomas but also the exam preparation courses run by Langue Onze Toulouse. The person will also help you to apply for the DELF/DALF/TCF exams in one of the examination centers in Toulouse
