Things to enjoy in Toulouse:
- Théâtre du Capitole - One of the most famous classical theatres in France, with its 4 centuries of history, the Théâtre du Capitole is the scene of operas, ballets and chamber music performances by both local and international companies.
- Basilique St Sernin - One of the largest and most beautiful Romanesque churches in France. - Open everyday from 8:30–11:30 and 14:00–17:30. Free entrance.
- Le Musée du Vieux Toulouse - Permanent collection of photos and historical records detailing the history of Toulouse. - Open May - October 14:00–18:00, every day except Sunday.

- Jardin Compans-Caffarelli - A large park and Japanese garden created in 1981, only a few minutes' walk from the school.
- Cathedrale St Etienne - Open every day 8:00–19:00. Free entrance.
- Galerie des photographies du Château d'Eau International photography exhibits: founded in 1974, the first gallery in France entirely dedicated to photography - Open Tuesday - Sunday from 13:00–19:00
- Cité de l'espace - Space/Science discovery park - Open Tuesday - Friday 9:30–17:00 / summer & weekends 9:30–18:00
- Festival de rue de Ramonville - local annual festival in September: troubadours, musicians and magicians roam the streets.
Toulouse is very lively and Toulousans are proud of their culture and nightlife: classical music events, rock, pop and jazz concerts, including more than a dozen music festivals each year. The Toulouse scene includes many bars offering live music, as well as numerous after hours bars.
The Place du Capitole, Place Wilson and the grand boulevards are Toulouse's night-time hot spots.
Things to enjoy near Toulouse:
- The Pyrenees: with its wonderful ski resorts during winter, and natural scenery for trekking and hiking year-round.
- Andorra: one of the smallest countries in the world, located in the Pyrenees on the French-Spanish border
- The Basque Country: an interesting and attractive region straddling the South-Atlantic coast of France and Northern Spain, with its green fields and fantastic mountain views.
- The French South Atlantic coast: with its wild cliffs, famous beaches and classic resort cities (Biarritz, Arcachon, Bordeaux...)
- The Mediterranean Riviera: Must sees: Montpellier by the sea, the Spanish "Costa Brava" and the spectacular city of Barcelona are less than 5 hours away by train or bus.
- "La Campagne" around Toulouse: Don't miss the rolling fields and vineyards, and the mediaeval towns with their impressively well-preserved architecture, such as the famous walled city and castle of Carcassonne, 3 square km in size!
