How to Enrol for a French Course in France at Langue Onze Toulouse

 

1 - How to register for a French course

Minimum age to enrol in the adult group courses: 17

1a. To reserve your French course and accommodation in Toulouse, please

complete the application form at the end of this page.

submit your online application by selecting the ‘Send’ button.

1b. Upon receipt of the application form, your registration will be confirmed in writing by email when possible, or by fax or post.

1c. We will send you a written test to complete at home. There will be an oral test on the first day of your course.

2 - Terms of payment

2a. To definitively reserve your French course, you must send Langue Onze Toulouse an advance payment in the following amount:

Intensive and Combined French courses of 1–8 weeks: an advance deposit of 150 € must be paid at the time of enrolment.

Intensive and Combined French courses of more than 8 weeks: an advance deposit of 150 € plus 150 € per each additional 8 weeks is required

Individual French courses: An advance deposit of 150 € must be paid at the time of enrolment.

If you are requesting accommodation, please add 30 € for the accommodation search service fee.

The advance deposit is included in the course prices indicated

2b. Once we receive your deposit, your registration is definitively confirmed.

If you have requested housing, the address of your accommodation in Toulouse will be sent to you by email, fax or post.

If you need to apply for a visa to travel to France, an Attestation of Registration will also be mailed to you at this time.

2c. Registration fee

A registration fee of 50 € is imposed for all courses. This fee is due at the start of your course.

2d. Payment due date

Payment in full for the balance of the course, including the registration and accommodation search fees (if requesting accommodation) must be made on the first day of your course.

2e. Payment methods

The deposit or the full amount due can be paid in the following ways:

Credit card – Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, Carte Bleue (+ 1.5 % bank service charge)

Bank draft, international or personal cheque payable in Euro at a French bank

International postal (money) order (available from the US, Europe)

Bank transfer to our account (+ 10 € for bank charges)

Whatever form of payment you choose, you are responsible for all bank service fees and charges.

3 - Cancellation policy for French courses

3a. Cancellation requests must be made in writing. You may delay your course for up to one year.

3b. If you cancel your French course:

4 or more weeks before the course starts:

Your deposit is non-refundable. Any fees paid in excess of the deposit amount will be refunded.

Less than 4 weeks before the course starts:

Your deposit is non-refundable.
70% of any fees paid in excess of the deposit will be refunded.

After the start date of your course:

No refunds will be given. If you wish to delay your course, you must inform the school in writing and your registration and deposit remain valid for a year.

Exceptions:

Visa applicants: In the case of refusal of your visa:
We will retain 300 € of your deposit. The balance of your deposit will be refunded.
Your deposit and any fees paid will not be refunded without written proof (by fax or post) of the decision of the French embassy or consulate to deny your visa.

In the case of serious illness or injury (with doctor’s statement and other written proof):
Your deposit is non-refundable. The balance of your unused course fees will be refunded.

3c. No refund will be given to the participants who start late or leave before the end of the session.

3d. All sums paid are non-refundable, except in the case of cancellation of the course by the school.

3e. Langue Onze Toulouse reserves the right to cancel any scheduled group course, or to convert it into an individual or mini-group (2-5 persons) course of equivalent value, if the number of students enrolled in the course is less than the required minimum (6).

3f. In case of cancellation by Langue Onze Toulouse, the fees for the unused portion of the course will be refunded.

4 - Class attendance & breaks

4a. The hours of the French group courses are not subject to change in response to the requirements of individual students, and will be modified by the school only in exceptional circumstances.

4b. For students electing private tutoring, French individual hours are scheduled in accordance with the availability of both student and teacher.

4c. Students are requested to arrive on time for class and private lessons, and to inform the school as soon as possible in the case of illness or other unavoidable absence.

4d. Missed private (Individual) hours may be made up at a later date if the student informs the school of his or her absence at least 24 hours before the scheduled hour of the course. Absences with less than 24 hours notice will not be rescheduled nor reimbursed.

4e. The school is closed on French public holidays. There are no refunds for missed class time due to holidays. Group hours will not be made up but Individual hours will be rescheduled.

5 - Insurance

5a. Students at Langue Onze Toulouse are insured against accidents while on the school premises. The school assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, damages or injury to persons or property.

5b. Students should be enrolled in a medical insurance policy in their home countries. To guarantee coverage in case of sudden illness or other medical emergency, we recommend you bring an official attestation or other proof of current medical insurance with you to Toulouse.

For citizens of the EC (European Community) can obtain medical care in France by presenting their national health card. If you are not an European citizen, please contact your insurance provider to guarantee the extent and conditions of your health coverage while travelling abroad.

5c. We recommend you also take out travel insurance, to protect yourself in the following cases: Trip Cancellation & Interruption - Medical Expenses - Baggage & Personal Belongings - Baggage Delay - Travel Delay - Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation.

6 - Accommodation service

6a - The reservation of an accommodation by the school is only possible for participants enrolled in an Intensive, Combined or Intensive Individual French courses.

6b. The accommodation search service costs 30 € per person, to be paid along with the deposit.

6c. Rent should be paid directly to your host on the day of your arrival.
